A Commitment Beyond The Office

Community Overview
STARCARE is actively involved in the community we serve. Annual programs we sponsor include our "Women of Power" luncheon and the Newport Beach Holiday Boat Parade Party. And, through the STARCARE Foundation, we support a variety of charitable organizations and events. We find comfort in knowing that our work is meaningful and that we can make a difference in our clients' lives and in our community.
We also work in partnership with other professionals - accountants, attorneys, trust officers, other investment professionals, social services representatives and others. Collaboration may afford our clients and their families the opportunity to leverage our collective knowledge, experience and wisdom. to explore an opportunity or solve a problem.

Women Of Power
For more than three decades, STARCARE has focused on educating and empowering a predominantly female client base. Women of Power events bring women together to learn, network, hear motivational speakers, and share philanthropic ideas.
The program continues to evolve as an annual touchpoint centered on education, inspiration, and community impact.

Making the world a better place
I set up the foundation right after 9/11 because I felt powerless and wanted to do something/anything to try and help make the world a better place. My first 10 years in California had been my best years ever and I wanted to give back. Women had always been the majority of my clients and at that time, the focus of the practice was beginning to become Special Needs. It seemed logical that our Foundation should support causes that resonated with women and individuals with special needs. For most of my life, luck has been my friend. I had believed that "Luck favors the hard working" and tried to be a hard worker. Early on, my foundation taught me that "Luck also favors those who CARE hard." It's remarkably true. God does drive an unmarked car. The more you give for others, the more you get in return.
